Breeding in the Eighties

Having collected a lot of experience and knowledge in the past years it was concluded to now start a further attempt in breeding. The aim was to find a stud dog above all coming up to the principle of keeping the race of Irish Terriers in a sound condition. In this case it was of great advantage that Mrs Braeckow imported the male "Esperons Terry Boy", who had just won the title of being World Winner in 1980, apart from all those other Champion and Winner titles he had won. As Mr H.E. Grüttner had decided on quality in breeding already at that early point of time - a premise he did stick to at any time - with this dog he had found the father for his new progeny, a progeny that came true on may 19th, 1980.

In this litter too two dogs were protruding: "Chico and Constanze von der Emsmuehle", who had many a remarkable success under their breeder "being that young".

At the World Dog Show 1981 at Dortmund "Constanze" became "Best Bitch" starting right from Junior Class. This title was followed by the titles of becoming Club Winner 1981 and later on German Champion.

The Eighties will be continued within short!
